Terms of use
Last updated: October 15, 2026
These terms apply when you use Luwu: the luwu command, the Luwu app, luwu.dev, app.luwu.dev and our relays. By using Luwu you agree to them.
The service
Luwu connects your own devices so you can reach your computers' terminals, files and ports from your phone. Luwu is in beta. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or unavailable.
Your account
- Keep your devices and sign-in email secure. You're responsible for what happens through your account and your devices.
- Remove devices you lose or no longer use (Me → Devices).
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Your computers and what you run
Luwu gives devices on your account access to the computers you connect. Only connect computers you own or are allowed to control. What runs on your computers is up to you, including coding agents and the commands they run. Luwu doesn't review it and isn't responsible for it.
Sharing with friends
When you share a window, the friend you invite can see it, and type in it if you allow that, until the share ends. Only share with people you trust, and end shares you no longer need.
Acceptable use
Don't use Luwu to:
- break the law;
- access computers or accounts you aren't allowed to;
- attack, overload or probe our relays or other users;
- relay traffic for other people as a proxy or VPN service.
We may limit or suspend accounts that do, or that put the service or other users at risk.
Plans and payment
Luwu is free during the beta. When paid plans start, prices and what they include will be shown before you're charged. Usage counts, such as relay traffic, computers and sessions, are visible in the app and at app.luwu.dev/account.
Your content
Your terminals, files and notes are yours. We don't claim any rights to them, and we can't read what passes between your devices (see Privacy).
Open source
Parts of Luwu use open-source software under their own licenses; see Me → About in the app.
No warranty
Luwu is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for data loss, arising from your use of Luwu.
Ending
You can stop using Luwu at any time. Remove your devices, and email hello@luwu.dev to delete your account. We may end the service with reasonable notice.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Luwu means you accept the updated terms.
