Sharing a window with a friend
Share one terminal window, for 30 minutes, an hour or a day, to get help or to show what your agent is doing.
On the phone: open a computer, touch and hold a window, then Share with a friend. From a terminal:
luwu share mac work:2 --for 1h # watch only
luwu share mac work:2 --write # they can type too
luwu share ls # who joined
luwu share end <id> # stop now
You get a link (https://app.luwu.dev/s/…) and a code. Your friend opens the link in a browser, enters the code in the Luwu app, or runs luwu join <code>. No account needed.
What a friend can do
- See only that window, live. Not your other windows or sessions, not your files.
- With a watch-only share, nothing they type reaches your computer.
- Your computer enforces this, not just Luwu's servers: their pass only works for that one window on that one computer, and only until the share ends.
Watch and type gives them a shell running as you. They could run any command, so only allow it for someone you trust.
Ending a share
The share screen lists who joined. Remove one person, or end the share, and they're disconnected within seconds. Shares also end on their own at the time you picked.
