Troubleshooting
A computer shows as offline
On that computer, run luwu status. If the service isn't running, luwu up. The log is ~/.luwu/logs/luwud.log.
"no tmux sessions"
Luwu shows tmux sessions only. Start one with tmux new -s work, or tap Open a new shell in the app.
It's slow
The path line on the computer screen says direct or relay and the round trip. Through a relay, speed depends on the relay; on the same Wi-Fi, devices usually connect directly within a few seconds.
No notifications
luwu hooksshould say installed for your agent. Restart the agent after installing.- The agent must run inside tmux.
- In iOS Settings → Luwu, allow notifications.
UDP is blocked
Some networks block QUIC. Luwu falls back to WebSockets on port 443 through Los Angeles; it just takes a moment longer.
Starting over on a computer
luwu unpair # removes it from your account
luwu # sets it up again
Removing a computer in the app (Me → Devices) signs it out too: within seconds its service stops and sets its pairing aside. Luwu stays installed; run luwu there to add it back.
